Charlotte's Path

To The Torch

Charlotte Coyle has always been involved in artistic ventures. She studied painting with Ollie McConnell as a young girl and later used her artistic eye as a stylist and colorist in the world of beauty and fashion. She was the creator of Whimsical Shaman, a petroglyph inspired papier-mâché sculpture adorned with beads, metals & horse hair, each possessing "magical powers". Finding out along the way that all artistic ventures influence the other. Charlotte was introduced to the world of glass by her sister in law who dabbled in torch work and jewelry. That prompted the first class in lampwork glass beads in St. Louis, MO. Since then Charlotte has studied both in the US and Europe.Fascinated by the artisans she encountered in Murano, Italy the last few years she has been experimenting with different effects and fine tuning those techniques.
